1) Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess a Graduation degree from a recognized University or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
2) Final Year/Semester Students: Applicants in their final year/semester of graduation may apply provisionally. However, if provisionally selected, they must provide proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before December 31, 2023.
3) Age Limit: Not below 20 years and not above 28 years as of 01.04.2023, i.e. the candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.04.1995 and not later than 01.04.2003 (both days inclusive).

For the selection to the post of Clerical Cadre through the SBI Clerk (Junior Associates) 2023 exam, candidates are selected through two phases of exams- the Preliminary Examination and the Main Examination. All candidates must clear both phases to secure the appointment letter from SBI. There is no provision for Inter Circle Transfer / Inter State Transfer for Junior Associates to be recruited.
Note- Trained apprentices of SBI (on or before 31/10/2023) may be given weightage in the Main Examination by awarding 2.5% of the maximum marks (i.e. 5 marks out of 200 marks) as bonus marks.
