About the School of IT Infrastructure Management Program
Wipro Technologies, in line with its innovative culture, has started a pioneering model in the field of higher education through SIM – School for IT Infrastructure Management.
SIM program provides opportunities for Diploma holders to obtain B. Tech in Information Systems from a University accorded “Institute of Eminence” (IoE) status by Government of India while you work as a full-time employee with Wipro. B. Tech Degree will be sponsored by Wipro.
By giving students the right kind of training, both in platform skills and behavioral skills, this program enables Wipro to prepare some of the best Diploma holders to face the challenges of the dynamic Information Technology world.
Eligibility Criteria | Wipro SIM Program 2024
To be eligible for Wipro’s School of IT Infrastructure Management program, you must meet the following criteria:
1) 10th Standard: Pass & 12th Standard: Pass
2) Diploma: 50% and above in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Telecommunication, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communication, Computer Technology, Computer Science and Technology, Electrical and Electronics Engineering
3) Year of Passing: 2023, 2024, 2025
Other Requirements:
A maximum of 3 years of education gap between 10th and the start of your Diploma is allowed.
1) Only full-time Diploma courses are permitted. Part-time, Correspondence, or Distance Learning programs are not eligible.
2) Mandatory to have studied Core Mathematics in your Diploma. Business Maths and Applied Maths will not be considered.
3) Open school or distance education is allowed in 10th & 12th or both.
4) A maximum of one backlog till the assessment process is allowed. Candidates are expected to clear backlogs along with the 6th semester.
5) You must be an Indian Citizen or hold a PIO or OCI card if you have a passport from another country. Bhutan and Nepal Nationals need to submit their citizenship certificate.
6) Candidates who have participated in any Wipro selection process in the last three months are not eligible.
7) You must be 18 years or older at the time of onboarding.
Selection Process
Wipro follows a comprehensive selection process to ensure they pick the best candidates for their School of IT Infrastructure Management program. Here’s what you can expect:
1) Online Assessment:
Verbal: 20 mins – 20 questions
Analytical: 20 mins – 20 questions
Quantitative: 20 mins – 20 questions
Written Communication Test: 20 mins
2) Business Discussion: Candidates who pass the online assessment will proceed to the Business Discussion round.
3) HR Discussion: Following the Business Discussion, successful candidates will have an HR interview.
4) Pre-Skilling Training: Candidates who clear the HR round will undergo Pre-Skilling Training to prepare them for the role.
5) Service Agreement: Candidates must sign a service agreement for 48 months. If you leave Wipro within this period, you will need to repay the joining bonus on a pro-rata basis.
Terms and Conditions:
It is Wipro’s discretion to permit/limit the participation of each candidate in the School of IT infrastructure Management) recruitment process.
After clearing the online assessment, candidates will have to go through a business discussion round. Candidates who clear the business discussion round will go through an HR discussion round and finally the HR round cleared candidates will have to go through a pre-skilling training.
Registration parameters and selection procedure belong solely to the discretion of Wipro. Wipro is not obligated to disclose any information at any stage of the selection process. Wipro also reserves the right to make an initial offer if the provisionally selected candidate does not meet certain conditions, which are a prerequisite for employment. Wipro also reserves the right to hold the candidate liable if he/she is found to be involved in any illegal activity, for example, Impersonation, fraud, production of illegal documents, etc.
Wipro will inform candidates about the results of the recruitment by individual e-mails or other means of communication provided by individual candidates.
Please note that at any stage, whether during your online test, interview process, and/or during pre-skilling training or upon joining the Company, if it is brought to our notice that you have indulged in malpractices or used illegal means to clear your online assessment, the Company shall withdraw or revoke the offer with immediate effect and we reserve our rights to take suitable action against you as we may deem fit.
